This is a good treat for someone that
doesn't like chocolate.
( I can't believe I just typed that sentence )
In a large bowl combine the sugar, flour
and salt. Add the softened butter.
tip:You can soften a stick if butter in the
microwave for 25 seconds on 30% power
Whisk the eggs in another bowl and add the lemon juice,
and zest.
Combine the two and beat until smooth.
I always use the butter wrapper to grease the pan.
Pour in the batter.
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
Mix the powdered sugar, lemon juice and zest.
Spread on the cooled lemon brownies.
It will make a nice thin glaze.
Cut into squares.
These have a light yet dense texture,
similar to brownies. I'll give them their own
new name......Lemonies!
Enjoy!
Lemon Brownies
3/4 C flour
3/4 C sugar
1/4 t salt
1 stick butter, soft
2 eggs
juice from 1/2 lemon (about 1T)
zest from 1/2 lemon (about 1t)
Combine the flour, sugar and salt
in a large bowl.
Mix in the softened butter.
In another bowl whisk the eggs with
the lemon juice and zest.
Add to the larger bowl and mix well.
Pour into prepared 8X8 brownie pan.
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
You can double the recipe and bake in a
9X13 pan for 30 minutes.
Remove and let cool, then glaze.
Glaze
1/2C powdered sugar
1 T lemon juice
additional lemon zest
stir together
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
note: 1 stick of butter is = to 1/2 C or 1/4 pound.
I use unsalted butter.
These look amazing! My parents belong to that weird group of chocolat ehaters, but they both love lemon, so this is a great recipe for family events. thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh, my those look good, but who in their right mind doesn't like chocolate! Thanks for sharing these at WOW.
ReplyDeleteBless you! I love chocolate, but since it gives me migraines I don't eat it anymore. Lemonish things - that's another story, thank goodness. :)
ReplyDeleteHard for me to imagine life without chocolate!! Even a chocoholic needs a break every now and then... Thanks for bringing these treats to Friday Potluck!
ReplyDeleteI am not a chocolate fan, but I LOVE lemon! I made these today and I am sold. Love them!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness these are delicious! Thank you for sharing!! I have already eaten far too many slices and I only made them today!! I have shared your blog on my blog :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited about these! One of my daughter's best friend's doesn't like chocolate-can't wait to make these for her :)
ReplyDelete@Mumzie I cut an 8x8 pan into 16 squares and they were 3 PointsPlus.
ReplyDeleteI made these last night and they are delicious! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteJust saw these on Pinterest, While I love chocolate, I do like a change every now and then and lemon runs a close second. can't wait to try these!
ReplyDeleteI love chocolate but it's a safe bet that I'd love these too!
ReplyDeleteHow have I missed this blog?!!! These look heavenly, with the lemon lovers in this house, I'm sure they will be a BIG hit! Cheers, Andrea
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me how much I'd a stick of butter in ounces or grams?
ReplyDeleteFour ounces is one stick of butter
DeleteI'm so excited to try this recipe. Due to a head injury, my taste has been distorted and chocolate no longer tastes good. And brownies were one of my brownie foods,so I will be making these soon. Thank You.
ReplyDeleteYum!
ReplyDeleteI'm now a follower!
I caught this recipe on pinterest... made it today. Ohmyeverlemonlovingbrownie, it is sooo yummy!
ReplyDeleteplease let us overseas folk let us know the weight of a 'stick of butter? I'm dying to make these for my son's lunch (I'm sure I'll sneak a few too...they look devine!)
ReplyDeleteI tried to reply by email, but you have it blocked.
ReplyDelete1 stick of butter is = to 1/2 C or 1/4 pound. Let me know how the recipe worked for you.
Thanks so much for this recipe. Stumbled onto your blog by chance. This recipe was YummO for dinner. My kids are chocolate fans, but their Mama is not. This was just what I wanted. :) Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you call them brownies?
ReplyDeleteBecause they have the same consistency and technique as chocolate brownies. It's the 'other' brownie. I should call them lemonies! Great idea!
ReplyDeletethese look amazing! I just need to get a good egg replacer!
ReplyDeleteI thought this would be a wonderful recipie to try for my sweets loving family. However you do not have a Print Recipe option. While the photos are very hepful for a new cook, anyone who has been around for a bit would most likely enjoy just being able to print the actual recipe. I will spend the time to copy it long hand however as a rule I will do this only once with any blogger. After that I delete them from my list of who to follow.
ReplyDeleteYou could always copy the recipe and paste it into a word processing program like Microsoft Word to print (takes two right clicks). Then you could even add your own notes and pictures, if you like. No print button is not a deal breaker in my book!
Delete@Bonita,
DeleteYour comment is unnecessary, if you have a print issue, that is your business, not ours. We luv Rita's blogs, they are a blessing.
I would love to add a print option, but haven't found one that works for me yet. I do put the concise recipe at the bottom so that it's easy to copy and paste to a blank 'compose email' and then print. That's what I do on so many recipe blogs. Still looking for a good and easy print button for my blog.
ReplyDeleteThe flavor of these were great! However, mine turned out more cake-like than brownie like. I don't know what I did wrong :-( I will attempt again though! Thanks for the recipe!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I like visuals so I think you set up the blog perfectly with having the recipe between the pictures and at the end. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the name "lemonies" :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd your lemonies are amazing :-) Thanks :-)
It's unfortunate someone feels the need to be obnoxious when other people are giving them free recipes. You don't have to be very computer savvy to copy and paste a recipe into a word document and hit print. In fact, I think that would take less time than bothering to write a rude comment. :-)
ReplyDeleteThese look delicious by the way. I'm one of those crazy people who doesn't like chocolate. We look forward to trying them. Love the name "lemonies!"
I found your recipe on Pinterest and had to try it. I LOVE lemon. Great flavor and I like the idea that it doesn't make a huge pan (the husband doesn't like lemon). They were terrific. I agree that they are a little more dense than cake, but not exactly brownie consistency. Just the right tang. Thanks for sharing! Kim
ReplyDeleteDo you use all purpose flour or self rising... I can't wait to make these :)
ReplyDeleteIf a recipe lists flour, it's always regular AP flour.
ReplyDeleteSelf-rising flour is always listed as such.
Will they still come out a good consistency if baked in a 9 x 9 instead of an 8 x 8?
ReplyDeleteHey there! Just came across this recipe on pinterest and it looks amazing, I can't wait to try it. I'm an overseas visitor though, so could you clarify what the abbreviations are in the recipe? What's a 'C' and a 't'? Also, when you say 3/4 C do you mean "3 or 4 Cs" or "3 fourths of a C"? Thanks a million :)
ReplyDeleteC is cup or 8 fluid ounces. A standard coffee cup in Europe is close enough for most recipes. 3/4 is 3 quarters of a cup. Small t is teaspoon or 5g. Capital T is tablespoon or 15g. A stick if butter is about 100g. Hope that helps!
DeleteLooks divine!
ReplyDeleteThis absolutely has my mouth watering! I love lemons and brownies are my weakness. :) Can't wait to try these out!!
ReplyDeleteI have made these several times and they're a hit with everyone. I love them. I also did a lime version tonight and a friend of mine did an orange one. They are all good! Thank you for a great and easy recipe!
ReplyDeleteFound your recipe on pinterest today and had to make it! I loved it, the texture was very brownie like. Delish! I will definitely be making this again:) although next time I want to try a lemon cream cheese frosting on top:) thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteto say these are wonderful would be a complete understatement. Good thing I made them and took them to my moms birthday gathering, or I would have eaten the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteTY for sharing, will make soon
ReplyDeleteMy daughter who doesn't like chocolate* will LOVE these! (*I know! We are thinking of having her tested! More for me!)
ReplyDeleteThese sound incredible... thank you, Pinterest!
ReplyDeleteThis is the first recipe I've ever memorized... and I absolutely love it!! It's so easy and the best lemon brownie I've ever had! Ok, maybe it's the only lemon brownie I've ever had. But still! DELICIOUS! Don't alter a thing!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw lemon brownies, I was interested. When I heard the "Theme from a Summer Place," I knew I would follow you! That is one of my all time favorite songs. Perfect fit for summer. And lemons. Can't wait to try your recipe. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recipes...I signed up for email...and am following you on Pinterest. But best of all....LOVE the music!! Thanks for making me sing out loud!!!
ReplyDeleteHi There,
ReplyDeleteMy lemonies are in the oven but I have a novice baker question. I must admit I usually make brownies from a mix and have only baked cakes, cookies, and pies. My question is regarding baking powder/baking soda-I notice there is none in this recipe (and I didn't put any in) but I usually see it in baked good recipes so I was just wondering :-)
thanks!
I made these last week and am ashamed to say that I ate the majority of the pan all by myself!! But they are so delicious, I had a hard time feeling bad about it. I doubled the recipe and made in the 13x9 pan. After pouring the glaze on the top, I slipped them into the refridgerator to set the glaze faster. I couldn't wait to eat one! They tasted to yummy chilled, that I left them in the fridge. I think i liked them like this better than I would have at room temp. My husband is a huge chocolate brownie lover, but said these were just as good. Thank you for the recipe! It is definately going in my favorites!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to try the lemon brownies and I like chocolate!
ReplyDeleteFound this recipe through Pintrest, and as I'm a lemon freak I knew I had to try them. Easy recipe (although I did add a touch more lemon), smells amazing as they're being baked, and they taste GREAT! My husband said that they have the texture and taste of a 'lemon cruller' - this recipe is going in my "favourites" for sure. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Rita! I found your recipe on Pinterest. They look mouth watering. Question: do you use salted or non-salted butter? I plan on making these for Easter Sunday! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi! I just made these this morning for a family event tonight for my hubby's work and they are SO good! Even my 2 and 3 year old loved them. I used salted butter since it's all I had on hand and just didn't add extra salt. So light and refreshing! So glad I doubled the recipe so we could taste them early and still have some left to share. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my! I just made a double batch of these. I don't think they'll last long - and I'm the only one home this weekend! I love their texture, as I'm a huge brownie fan. Glad to see someone else tried other citrus versions as I was wondering about using key lime juice.
ReplyDeleteI used dried lemon zest from a jar and bottled juice and they were still amazing!
Thanks for the great recipe!
I'm adding these to my dessert favorites. They're easy and very tasty! Will be trying them with key lime juice next time.
ReplyDeleteSince finding your recipe on a friend's pinterest, I have made this recipe four times (since March 12th) with the fourth time being for Easter dinner. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe!
ReplyDeleteLove,love, love this recipe. Easy breezy and scrumptious. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful recipe. Some feel a compulsion to keep good things a secret. Glad you know the beauty of sharing! Thank you! The music is awesome also.....enjoy it all the while I am baking! Mambo Italiano is now a staple...ha ha
ReplyDeleteIt's not that I don't love chocolate, I do. But I can't have it any more due to my milk allergies. This looks like a divine substitute!
ReplyDeleteI made these last night and they turned out alright. For some reason, they tasted a bit "flour-y." I am thinking I did not mix the ingredients well enough. Next time I will mix with my kitchen aid ;) other than that, they were pretty good and the glaze was amazing! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThese sound great! My husband loves lemon and he loves brownies. I on the other hand generally do not like brownies! Strange I know, I dont like chocolate ice cream either! I dont know why but I cant say I dont like chocolate because I definately do like most chocolate! I will let you know how they come out! Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI found these on pinterest. Oh man do they sound and look amazing. I am so happy to have discovered your yummy blog and am now your newest follower. when you have a chance come by and check out my blog www.questfordelish.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI just made these up today because I needed something lemony and easy to fix for my open house. Thank you they look delicious and were super easy to fix! Can't wait to taste them!
ReplyDeleteI really loved these, thanks for sharing the recipe. Mine turned out dense with chewy edges just like brownies and had a rich buttery lemon flavor. I love chocolate, but these are awesome too.
ReplyDeleteHello Rita! I just wanted to say I stumbled upon this recipe thanks to Pinterest, and I absolutely LOVE it! It's easily the best recipe I've found and made from Pinterest. My husband and I ate the whole pan in less than 24 hours - they were simply delicious. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI made this recipe tonight for my Bible Study class. The lemon brownies are delicious. I doubled the recipe and they turned out perfect. Thanks for a great recipe that I will make again.
ReplyDeleteI looked over the comments but may have missed what I was looking for. My question is plain or slef rising flour? My daughter emailed this reciped to me and I am excited about it and want to try ASAP
ReplyDeleteIt's always plain all purpose flour unless it says self-rising flour.
ReplyDeleteI just want you to know that these are amazing. It is my new favorite recipe. People at work love them, my family loves them, I love them, whats not to love right! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThese look delicious! I am going to give them a try and share your recipe on my blog{with a link back of course} I'm a new follower of yours as well. :)
ReplyDeleteWe are making these now and I just wanted to say not only Thanks for the recipe... but for the playlist to go with them!
ReplyDeleteGoing to go zest my lemons!! I can't wait to taste....they look Devine!!!
ReplyDeleteHow do you think these would be with key lime juice instead of lemon? I have a bunch I need to use up. Then I could just zest some regular limes....ummmmm, may have to try it! Great looking recipe and blog!
ReplyDeleteAH-MAZING!! Used gluten free all purpose flour to make them GF friendly for my family, but fantastic recipe. We LOVED them!!
ReplyDeleteMy 7 year old son and I just made these to take out to my Mother and Father in-laws for an early Father's Day celebration. They were so simple to make! We can't wait to bite into them. In fact been having to keep my son out of the kitchen. We will let you know what we think after we actually savor them. I found your recipe on Pinterest. Please feel free to follow me as well Busy Breathers. :)
ReplyDeletesimply WOW! in my country we don't have lemons, so I tried it with lime. They turned out amazing, and they are so easy to make!
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!! Love them!!!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever made these using Meyer lemons instead of regular ones??
ReplyDeleteTried them last night. Delicious! Just the right combo of sweet and sour. Great with a cup of hot tea. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful - a great lemon flavor, taste.Super!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for the nice recipe, I liked - http://trydiani.blogspot.com/2012/06/lemonies.html
Greetings and a nice summer, Diana
Key box or cabinet is must-have equipment for robust security for employees and industrial machinery. That is the essential equipment of any workplace: a warehouse, factory, or the domestic working atmosphere. There are different types of key cabinet available at the safety house depending on the size of your business and the requirements of the keys.
DeleteI had these at my friends house on Sunday afternoon. she told me she had seen the recipe on pintrest, I could hardly wait to get home and pin this so I could make them again.... Omg they're good
ReplyDeleteI copied what I guess is your recipe from Backy Charms...warning there is a typo or change in the glaze yours calls for 1 tablespoon of lemon juice the other one calls for 4!!! That amount causes the brownie to be way too moist and gooey! Will have to try again with your proportions.
ReplyDeleteI made these for a family get together over the weekend for the first time and people were fighting to get a piece! LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove, love lemon and cannot WAIT to try these - thanks so much for sharing! I featured you on my blog recently:
First of all, I LOVE brownies & second of all, I am obsessed with anything lemon (so this was a dream come true). I also have been looking for something to bake that was a little less rich than lemon bars but still slightly similar & these we perfect!! I ALWAYS look at reviews before baking/making any recipes that I am not familiar with & this time, I let the pictures speak for themselves! I also was looking for something to bake that was relatively easy (after slaving over dinner all night). And boy, was I in for one of the best treats of my life...I just cooled & glazed them & took a bite of a slice & I honestly felt like Julia Child for a minute haha Anyway....they are better than ANY words could do them justice for. I'm so excited for my boyfriend to try them tomorrow, along with his co-workers...I expect a text or call around lunch time (or even possibly before!). Thank you, this is the best thing I've made off of Pinterest, it will be extremely hard to top!! I think I'll be baking them again tomorrow but this time, I'm doubling the recipe!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this fabulous recipe! My son hates chocolate, but loves lemon, so I am always looking for new easy lemon recipes! These were wonderful. I omitted the glaze, as I thought they were sweet enough. Might try them with a lemon cream cheese frosting next time!
ReplyDeleteAny changes to baking at higher altitudes (6700 ft)??
ReplyDeleteIts taste is much different from the other type of brownies and i will try this :)
ReplyDeleteI saw your recipe on Pinterest... tried it .. loved it!!! great one thanx for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic! Great recipe, thanks!
ReplyDeleteHow much is '1 stick butter'?????
ReplyDeleteI get a lot more than 1TBSP juice from half a lemon, so do I just use 1 tbsp??
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to let you know I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this recipe it is one of my favorites.. I love it so much i recently shared it on my Fb business page.... THank you so much for sharing... I was writing the recipe down and now I am gonna have to go buy some lemons cause I think I am in need of more! Thanks again
I made these and they turned out fantastic. Irresistible!!! Thanks Rita for sharing the recipe :)
ReplyDeleteLemonies ( Lemon Brownies )
Found your recipe on pinterest. Being a chocolate and lemon lover, copied the recipe for future trial.
ReplyDeleteI own a Peony Farm in Sequim, WA. Now that the peonies blooming season is over, I am switching from being a Peony Lover to a Baking Angel (so my husband says). On the list is your "lemonies", then the chocolate cake. My diet is in danger!
These look very appetizing.
ReplyDeleteI found these on Pinterest made them for my family. Instant hit!!! Now they are a regularly requested item. So fresh tasting and my "sour pusses" love them! Thanks for a great recipe and easy directions. Well done!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to try these. Not a chocolate hater, just not suppose to have caffeine which is found in chocolate. And my husband doesn't care for lemon so if I make him regular and lemon for me he will leave mine alone when his are all gone
ReplyDeleteI made these yesterday for my lemon-loving family. They were absolutely delicious! We are a bit on the picky side, so the praise does not come lightly - thank you for sharing the recipe, and I look forward to trying more!
ReplyDeleteI love to read and appreciate your work.
ReplyDeletepork chop recipes
Had these pinned for forever, finally baked them this afternoon. I don't know what I waited so long! SO SO SO delicious!!
ReplyDeleteI dont have a lemon...could i use lemon juice from the bottle and omit the zest?
ReplyDeleteHad to try these nummy looking brownies. But I think (actually I know) I made a mistake. First, I had to use the bottled lemon juice I already had on hand. I also had to use dehydrated lemon peel. (Did have any lemons.) I think it was a huge mistake. The brownies tasted bitter rather than sweet but lemony!
ReplyDeleteI also sprayed the pan with Wilton's baking spray (made specifically for baked items) and the brownies stuck terribly bad. They broke apart completely.
The bottom line is... I feel that if you follow the directions rather than veer off like I did, this is a fabulous recipe. I will try it again and use only the ingredients called for. But I think I will also line the pan with parchment paper.
Thank you for sharing what looks like a very wonderful recipe!
Loved the recipe. Also like the format. I figured out the cut and paste option. Here in AZ it is citrus harvest time. I plan on giving lots of samples with your lemon brownie recipe.
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
My heart just skipped a beat. I don't like chocolate but LOVE lemon anything. This is PERFECT!
ReplyDeleteJust made these for the 4 teens at my house...loved them!! We thought they needed more Lemon. Sooo in the icing I added 2 packets of Tru Lemon & that perked it up. Next time might even add Lemon pudding into the batter. Great alternative to regular brownies :-)
ReplyDeleteHi i just made them and they are delicious!! I'm keeping them for a day or 2 and was wondering if i should keep them in the fridge or room temp. Thank you in advance!!
ReplyDeleteI've just kept them out for 1-2 days, but you can refrigerate them and bring them to room temp if you don't like them cold.
ReplyDeleteEvery weekend i used to pay a visit this website, as i wish for enjoyment,
ReplyDeletefor the reason that this this website conations really pleasant funny material too.
My web site; flashlights you shake
I made these last week, & boy are they good! Thanks for the recipe.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by a blog administrator.
ReplyDeleteDo you use salted or unsalted butter? I saw someone else had asked and never received a reply. I would like to make these ASAP.
ReplyDeleteMade these tonight. The flavor is incredible, but these are not brownies, it is cake. The texture is that of a cake nothing like a brownie. Very good, but I'm disappointed in the fact that you call this cake a brownie.
ReplyDeleteI made these last night and we all loved them! Thank you SO much for a yummy recipe! Plus they were SOOOO easy. I can whip this up in a matter of minutes and I usually have lemons on hand.
ReplyDeleteWOW are these delicious!! I love lemon and these are an instant favorite! When I make brownies I usually slighltly undercook them so that they are nice and soft even after they've cooled (I don't like the crunchy edge pieces of brownies). However I found when I did that to these they were a little too undercooked for this type of batter. My mistake of course, not a mistake with the directions, but now I know and if anyone else usually makes brownies like that just be aware this should be baked through evenly like a cake. I found that these lemonies are in an interesting place where they are not quite brownies, not quite cake, but I might love them better than either! Thanks for a delicious and EASY recipe :)
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful, but try adding 3 oz. low fat cream cheese to the glaze...double yummy!
ReplyDeleteThese look amazing! My mother and father are part of that strange number of chocolat ehaters, but they both really like orange, so this is a fantastic formula to see relatives members activities. thanks!
Has anyone tried freezing them? I was thinking of making some for Christmas baking and freezing them? I make these a lot for gatherings and they are always a hit.
ReplyDeleteLemon is one of my favorite things. When I first saw this recipe it was on another blog. The picture was deep yellow and they looked about 1and1/2 inches thick. Wellllll, I made them today and they are no where near that color or thickness. They were very pale and very thin. They actually look more like these on your blog. I was so disappointed in them. They had a thin gel like texture on the bottom and sort of packy. The recipe I used is exactly like this one. I don't know what could have gone wrong.
ReplyDeleteI have been cooking 50 years so it isn't like I am just starting out. Wish I knew what happened.
Was referred to this recipe from onehotstove.blogspot.com. Fantastic recipe. They came out so well. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI happen to be one of the few people who do not like chocolate. My daughter made these and we could not stop eating them they were sooo good.
ReplyDeleteWow what a great chief that was made-up that kind of food its look like so delicious... I think Personal chefs are dependable for control all the menu organization, grocery shopping, cooking, packaging and kitchen cleanup and make enjoyable and healthy meals that you will look forward to eating.
ReplyDeleteMy chocoholic husband joins me in praise of these delicious lemonies! Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteThese were so delicious!!! We are a fan of both chocolate and lemon and these rank right up there with them!! Yummy...thanks for sharing your recipe :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad I found YOUR recipe...the other one on Pinterest didn't sound right. Can't wait to make it tomorrow. thanks SO MUCH for posting. Saved me from a lemony disaster.
ReplyDeleteYummy! Just made these and couldn't wait for them to cool. They are just like brownies... Can't wait to try orange and lime too. Thanks so much for your easy to follow recipe and the great tip about the butter wrapper. Never would of thought of that in a million years.
ReplyDeleteIf you are still reading comments, thank you for this recipe! I made them last night and they are very good. I doubled the recipe and cut them into 15 squares and am going to use them to sell at a lemonade stand, minus the 3 we ate. Yum!
ReplyDeleteI know this is a late comment but I wanted to put in my two cents. These were delicious! I originally made an adapted version that I found on pinterest and wasn't as impressed. No need to adapt these bad boys!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the awesome recipe!
I love these and so does my family. I have taken them to potluck dinners with friends and everyone seems to love them.. I wish they were thicker like some of the photos of this recipe I have seen.. I need to try to double the recipe in an 8x8 and adjust the cooking time... they are pretty thin made this way, but they are pretty rich so the thinness doesn't seem to matter that much. thank you for this yummy recipe!
ReplyDeleteI love chocolate but...it doesn't like me, in fact it hates me and makes me miserable :-(
ReplyDeleteThis recipe makes me very excited! I love lemons and brownies!
ReplyDeleteI made these for a church potluck today. They were well received and I will be making them again because they are delicious. If a person likes lemon, they need to try these. Thank you for a great recipe.
ReplyDeleteSure wish I had a plate of these at home right now! They look really good.
ReplyDeleteI adore chocolate but it gives me migraines that send me to the ER (haven’t had any in 14 years), so these are a gift!! I’m going to bake some this week.
ReplyDeleteI tried these tonight to make for Teacher Appreciation week, and was so disappointed. I followed the recipe exactly, using the correct type of butter, flour, fresh lemons, etc. They came out only about 1/2 an inch thick in my 8 x 8 pan, and were rock hard. :(
ReplyDeletewow wonderful recipe and I would like to try and taste it
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely delicious. Was craving for a midnight snack and what a great way to help with your chocolate cravings. Delicious chewy and chocolaty, will definitely be making this again. Thank you for the recipe Healthy Brownie Recipes | Keep Healthy Living :)
ReplyDeletethese are amazing! i think today makes the fourth time i've made them in the last couple weeks since first trying the recipe. WINNER! keeper! love these so much more than the traditional gooey lemon bar -- such a great texture, and so much simpler to put together. thanks so much :)
ReplyDeleteGoogle Customer Service great post
ReplyDeleteThese are the best lemon brownie I've ever come across. I really enjoy making them in mini muffin pans. They're bite sized wonders with the texture of a Madeleine. I never have leftovers.
Loan Opportunity Offered By Mr, Benjamin That Save My Family From Financial Bondage {lfdsloans@lemeridianfds.com}
ReplyDeleteHello Everyone, I am Putri Adiratnaa single mom from Jakarta, I would like to share this great testimony on how I got a loan from Mr, Benjamin, when we were driven out of our home when I couldn't pay my bills anymore, After being scammed by various companies online and denied a loan from my bank and some other credit union I visited. My children were taken by the foster care, I was all alone in the street. The day i shamefully walked into an old school mate who introduced me to Daisy Maureen. At first I told her that I am not ready to take any risk of requesting a loan online anymore, but she assured me that I will receive my loan from them. On a second thought, due to my homelessness I had to take a trial and applied for the loan, luckily for me I received a loan of $80,000.00 from Mr, Benjamin. I'm happy I took the risk and applied for the loan. My kids have been given back to me and now I own a home and a business of my own. All thanks and gratitude goes to Le_Meridian Funding Service and for the help of Mr, Benjamin for giving me a meaning to life when i had lost all hope. If you currently seeking for a loan assistance, you can contact them via: {lfdsloans@lemeridianfds.com} Or WhatsApp +1-989-394-3740
